It has been over a year since both the iPad mini (6th generation) and the M1-based iPad Pro were introduced. Now, both of those models have finally made their way to Apple’s Certified Refurbished Store, so you can snatch one of them at a pretty good deal.
The next generation iPad mini probably won’t come out until next year, and the recently refreshed iPad Pro with M2 was such a minor update overall. Therefore, both of those models are still great to buy in 2023, especially if you’ve been thinking about getting an iPad for the first time.
The refurbished iPad mini models with 64 GB of storage are priced at $419, which is $80 off if buying new. The 256 GB models are priced at $549, and you’ll be saving $100. The refurbished models for the 11-inch iPad Pro with M1 start at $639, and the 12.9-inch models start at $889. So you’ll be saving big and still have the same iPadOS features that are exclusive to the iPad Pro such as Stage Manager. One buying tip I’d recommend is to go for at least 128 GB of storage.
Buying refurbished products provide the same coverage as getting a product in “new” condition. You’ll get the same 1-year warranty and 14-day return policy. However, supplies could fluctuate, so it’s imperative to buy a refurbished model at a lower price sooner rather than later. Otherwise, you might have to wait for Apple to restock those models.
