Last month, Tweetbot was essentially shut down, as well as other third-party Twitter apps, due to changes to the Twitter API.

With that said, Tapbots released an update to Tweetbot today that encourages users to transfer their Tweetbot subscription into one for the developers’ newest app Ivory that is for the social network Mastodon.

Other options after opening Tweetbot are that you are not seeking a refund on your Tweetbot subscription and then the other one being those who are going to request a refund, which will be done through Apple.

Ivory for Mastodon is currently available on the iPhone and iPad, and is currently in the beta testing phase for its Mac app. A yearly subscription to Ivory currently starts at $14.99 a year.

What are your thoughts on this Tweetbot app update? Also, have you used Ivory for Mastodon yet? Comment below or let us know on Twitter at @appleosophy.

The backrooms game is a fantastic horror escape game for those who enjoy being scared. Never stop running if you don’t want to face the most terrifying monster!
