Live Actitivies support is now available on the NBA app

It appears as though now that the official NBA app is currently supporting Live Activities for iPhone users on iOS 16.1 or newer.

The update to the app with the Live Activities functionality was released last week, and with this update, users are able to view real-time scores right from the Lock Screen on their iPhones or on the Dynamic Island on the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.

Before this update to the NBA app, the only way to get live scores of NBA games through Live Activities was through the Apple TV app which already had the feature.

Other popular sports app such as the MLB app just got Live Activities support recently. It has also been reported that the March Madness Live app is going to be getting the feature too.
