Apple introduced support for Detailed City Experience on Apple Maps with iOS 15 in 2021. Ever since then, the experience has expanded to more and more cities such as Atlanta, Berlin, Chicago, Las Vegas, London, Los Angeles, Melbourne, Miami, Montréal, New York, Philadelphia, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, Sydney, Toronto, Vancouver, and Washington.
As noted by Frank McShan on Twitter, support for Detailed City Experience on Apple Maps has now been extended to the city of Boston.
