It was announced recently that Apple would be launching Apple Music Classical, which is free for current Apple Music subscribers.
With the release coming tomorrow, it should be noted that Apple Music Classical will be its own app outside of Apple Music and the default Music app. The good news is for those wanting to get in on the notes and scores tomorrow, there’s an easy way to do so.
All you have to do is open the App Store app on a device like your iPhone and search for “Apple Music Classical.” Once you have you have done that, the app should appear on the page. From there, you can tap the “Get” option and then it will finish your “purchase” (yes, it is completely free but makes it look like a regular App Store or in-app purchase) with a blue check mark that indicates that it is ready to be downloaded to your device.
After all of that is said and done, the app should download and install overnight tonight, Monday, March 27, and into March 28, where the app should show itself on your device that morning.
Please note that at this time, the Apple Music Classical app is currently only going to be optimized for the iPhone but can be downloaded on devices like the iPad.
