The folks over at Houzz announced yesterday that its platform will soon be supporting Apple’s Tap to Pay feature.
For those that do not know, Houzz is a prominent home renovation service.
With Houzz enabling this service, it enables professionals to simply be paid by tapping their iPhone with the customer’s iPhone or Apple Watch and receiving payment that way. This said to be specifically working for Houzz Pro customers.
The whole payment process is all to be done in the Houzz app. By doing it this way, professionals that use the app can now schedule, get paid, and manage their payments all through the one Houzz app.
Houzz co-founder Alon Cohen said this new feature is all about adding more simplicity for both parties, according to 9to5Mac.
“…the platform has always wanted to help professionals ‘keep projects running smoothly’ and that Tap to Pay from Apple helps them do just that. Cohen added that Tap to Pay also contributes ‘to greater visibility into a pro’s overall cash flow.'”
