Today, the state of Georgia announced in a press release that citizens can add their State ID/Driver’s license to the Wallet app now.
Starting today, residents can use their iPhone or Apple Watch to speed up TSA checkpoints in a quick and secure manner. This new addition can help you keep your information private and send your information digitally to the identity reader.
However, Georgia state has said that users will still have to carry their physical card with them, as the card is meant to be a companion to the digital card in the Wallet app.
