There is new evidence to suggest that Texas-based grocery retailer H-E-B could finally begin accepting Apple Pay in its stores.
Over the past month, the company has posted on its Twitter account that it is “looking into Apple Pay” when customers post about it.
We're looking into Apple Pay among a few other options as well, but we year you ☺ï¸

While this may seem business as usual for most companies that have an active presence on Twitter and other forms of social media, most companies typically say something along the lines of, “We do not currently support Apple Pay at this time but will forward your feedback to the proper team for further consideration” or the company simply says it does not accept it.
Thank you for your comments. I apologize; however we do not currently support NFC (Near Field Communication) based payment methods (which include Apple Pay and Google Pay among others). I am sorry for any inconvenience; however do appreciate your feedback concerning the matter.

Another notable factor is in the H-E-B subreddit on Reddit, where it has been said that Apple Pay is coming by “the end of the year.” Apparently, H-E-B has had meetings within its divisions in the company and has told employees that it does plan on bringing support for Apple Pay in 2023.
It has already been a big year for Apple Pay with the feature being added at many Kroger stores and Kroger-owned chain stores, with plans to have Kroger support Apple Pay in its stores and owned stores company-wide by Monday, June 5, 2023. Apple Pay was also added to the Lowe’s app earlier this year too.

I think they lied. It’s 1024 and nothing. Time to find another grocery store
