For years now, Apple has had a Back to School promotion in their store, which grants students either a free Apple gift card or an accessory when they purchase an eligible Mac or iPad. It also grants students a 20% discount on AppleCare+ if they choose to purchase it. Earlier this month, Apple launched this promotion in the United States, and starting today, it’s now available in both Canada and Mexico.

This offer is currently active and is valid till October 2nd, through which students in Canada are eligible for a $200 Apple gift card with the purchase of any new MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, or iMac, and a $150 Apple gift card with the purchase of any iPad Pro, iPad Air, or Mac mini. On the other hand, students in Mexico are eligible for a free pair of AirPods (3rd generation) with the purchase of any MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, or iMac. However, the Mac mini will come with AirPods (2nd generation) instead of the 3rd generation. Students will be offered an option to upgrade to a different AirPods model such as the AirPods Pro (2nd generation) at an additional cost. Students are also eligible for a free Apple Pencil (2nd generation) when they purchase an iPad Pro or iPad Air with this offer in Mexico.

In order to take advantage of this promotion, you must be currently attending or accepted to a College/University, a Trade/Technical school, or any school above the high school level. The faculty of said schools are also eligible, as well as parents that are purchasing on behalf of a student.
