Apple has started rolling out the third developer betas of iOS 17 and iPadOS 17 with important bug fixes, according to Apple’s Developer Webpage. These updates come two weeks after the release of the second betas of iOS 17 & iPadOS 17.
iOS 17 brings in a ton of new features and changes including a new Live Voicemail Feature, personalized Contact Posters, NameDrop Interactive Widgets, Standby Mode, precise search filters, and more. On the other hand, iPadOS 17 includes a new Lock Screen, a new PDF Experience, Health App, and more.
Users who are registered as a developer on www.developer.apple.com can opt-in to receive beta updates by going into Settings>General>Software Update>Beta Updates and selecting iOS 17 Developer Beta or iPadOS 17 Developer Beta. Do note that these versions are not stable and are meant for testing purposes.
Users will also be able to sign up as a Public Beta Tester for iOS 17 and iPadOS 17 on www.beta.apple.com as they are ‘Coming Soon’.
Along with iOS 17 & iPadOS 17 Beta 3, Apple also released the third developer betas of macOS 14 Sonoma, tvOS 17, and watchOS 10. These softwares will be released to the public this fall, most likely in September.
