Appleosophy | PayPal debit and credit cards now have support for Apple Pay

It has been reported by 9to5Mac that PayPal debit and credit cards are finally getting support for Apple Pay in the Wallet app.

This is something that has been in the works for a little while for PayPal after the company made the announcement last year that updates to its company-branded debit and credit cards with support for Apple Pay.

Once the card is added to the user’s iPhone and/or Apple Watch, they can make purchases with Apple Pay at a wide variety of retailers all across the U.S., as well as make purchases online with it from devices like an iPhone, iPad, or Mac as long as the website or app accepts Apple Pay as a payment method.

It has also been reported that Venmo, which is owned by PayPal, is expecting to add Apple Pay functionality to its cards soon, but as this is being written, the support for Apple Pay is still not available on those cards.
