At the Apple event on Tuesday, Apple made it clear that they want to keep moving forward to create a more sustainable and environmentally friendly business. As part of this commitment, they have decided to replace all leather accessories with a new material called FineWoven. This material, as described by Apple, has a soft suede-like feel. It is made from 68% recycled materials and significantly reduces carbon emissions compared to leather.
iPhone FineWoven Wallet with MagSafe:
The new FineWoven Wallet with MagSafe is a cardholder that can hold at least three cards. It also supports the FindMy network and notifies you when the wallet is detached from your iPhone. The FineWoven Wallet is available in Mulberry, Evergreen, Taupe, Pacific Blue, and Black, and it is priced at $59, which is the same as the previous leather variant.
iPhone 15 FineWoven Case with MagSafe:
The FineWoven case with MagSafe is available for iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and Pro Max. The new case features a leather-like material that feels like suede and is compatible with MagSafe charging. It comes in Mulberry, Evergreen, Taupe, Pacific Blue, and Black at a price of $59 dollars.Â
