It has been reported by Bloomberg that Apple Store retail workers (retail employees and AppleCare technicians) are receiving raises between 2-5% in 2023, with the average year-over-year raise being about 4%.

Last year, the company had offered raises of about 8-10%. Part of that was done to get more employees hired in Apple’s retail store sector due to the labor shortage and to combat unionization attempts.

Raises are decided on by employee reviews and those reviews are typically done in the fall.

Apple Store employees generally make around $22-30 an hour and do not work on any sort of commission.

What are your thoughts on the Apple Store employee raises? Do you think Apple is giving its retail workers enough of an annual raise? Comment below or let us know on X at @appleosophy.
