It’s the first weekend of fall of the college football season and there will be two games that Apple TV 4K users will be able to stream in 4K this weekend.

Here are the following games:

  • 3:30 p.m. ET: UCLA vs. Utah – FOX

  • 7 p.m. ET: Arkansas vs. LSU – ESPN

The way to stream these games in 4K on FOX is through two methods.

Our first method will be through the YouTube TV and fuboTV live TV streaming services. Both of them offer the FOX 4K channels which will be showing the 4K through the 4K feed. YouTube TV users will need the 4K add-on with the service which costs an additional $9.99 a month.

The most convenient way to get access to the 4K stream will be through the tvOS FOX Sports app. All the user will have to do is sign in with their TV provider to the app and as long as your TV plan has FOX as a channel on it, you will be able to stream the game from the app and view it in 4K on their Apple TV 4K.

When it comes to the ESPN game, that one can only be streamed through YouTube TV and DirecTV Stream, according to TVAnswerman.com.

ESPN does broadcast the games in “native 4K” thanks to cameras that are available at the stadium and on-site. FOX Sports’ 4K broadcasts “are produced in 1080p HD and then upscaled to 4K for the home transmission.”

Do you plan on streaming any of these games this Saturday on your Apple TV 4K? Comment below or let us know on X at @appleosophy.
