Venmo credit and debit cards get support for Apple Pay

Avatar for David Becker

If you’re a Venmo card user, the service is getting better.

PayPal, which owns Venmo, made an announcement yesterday, stating that Venmo credit and debit cards now have support for the Wallet app and can be added in it for Apple Pay purchases on devices like the iPhone and Apple Watch.

Additionally, PayPal credit and debit cards are also getting supported for the Wallet app and being used in Apple Pay purchases. Please note that support for both Venmo and PayPal to be on the Wallet app for Apple Pay is only for compatible cards.

“PayPal and Venmo credit or debit card holders can make payments quickly and securely in-store, online or on their favorite apps using Apple Pay ”” and can still earn the same cashback and rewards that they love on their eligible purchases.”

Once the card is added to the Wallet app, on top of using it on an iPhone or Apple Watch, it can also be used on the user’s iPad or Mac too.
