How to put a fireplace on your Apple TV in 2023

Avatar for David Becker

The fall season has come and so have the cooler temperatures and even snow across the U.S. in some locations.

For one reason or the other, some people do not have a home with a fireplace in it. That leaves many with the option of wanting one but maybe not having the room or the money to get one added to their home.

With that said, there are some methods of at least getting a digital fireplace in your home if you own an Apple TV 4K.

Here are some of those methods.

  • Fireplace apps: There are apps in the tvOS App Store such as Winter Firepalce, Fireplace Lover, and others that will enable you to have a fireplace from an app on your TV screen.

  • Pluto TV: Believe it or not, this is an option. The free ad-supported streaming service does have channels like “Festive Fireplace” and “Crackling Fireplace” where you can simply listen to a fireplace on your TV screen. The first channel does play Christmas music in the background too.

  • YouTube: There are plenty of fireplace videos on here where you can play them from the YouTube app on the Apple TV or AirPlay from a device like an iPhone or iPad. Once you find one you like, play it and enjoy it from there.
