In the past week, Apple has quietly added the streaming service Marquee TV to Apple TV Channels in the Apple TV app.
Marquee TV is the home of art entertainment such as music, theater, operas, ballets, dance, and symphonies.
Current programs on the streaming service include “Louis Armstrong: Live in Australia,” “Juliet & Romeo,” “Michael Buble: Tour Stop 148,” and William Shakespeare’s “Hamlet” starring Paapa Essiedu as Hamlet.
The streaming service costs $9.99 a month and is available to stream on all devices that have access to the Apple TV app.
For those interested, there is a standalone Marquee TV app that can be subscribed to through in-app purchases through the App Store for $8.99 a month. It is available on the iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV.
