How to stream Thanksgiving music on Apple Music in 2023

Avatar for David Becker

With Thanksgiving being a week away now, it is a good time for everyone to know that there is music out there specifically for Thanksgiving dinners.

Thanksgiving will be on Thursday, November 24, this year and Apple Music could be your perfect destination for having that perfect music or playlist to have an enjoyable dinner.

To find this music, you will have to go into the Apple Music app on your iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, or Mac (depending on the product you are using) to search for it. Simply type in “Thanksgiving” in the search bar and the music streaming service will give you a couple of options to choose from, in terms of albums and playlists.

For the sake of this article, we are going to be more so focusing on playlists since they tend to be longer than single albums and have a theme or overall nice vibe to them.

Here are those results:

  • Thanksgiving Dinner: The name is as simple as that and it has music like oldies and newbies when it comes to the timeline of the music. On top of that, the genres are mixed in there will all sorts. Needless to say, there will be something for everyone here.

  • Thanksgiving; The Gravy Train: Those looking to make things even more relaxing have this option from SFJAZZ that will keep you relaxed, have your head bopping up-and-down a bit, and keep everyone in a good mood.

  • Thanksgiving Classical Music: We can’t forget about the classical music lovers out there, especially with the release of Apple Music Classical this year. This album has 29 songs on it and will surely enhance the attitude of your Thanksgiving dinner, as well as make for a classy Thanksgiving.

Of course, you do have the option too of playing on devices like a HomePod, HomePod Mini, or Apple TV by simply requesting it (HomePod) through Siri or using the Apple Music app to play it from there (Apple TV). AirPlay is another way of doing it too.
