There is nothing that screams America and the United States more than watching football on Thanksgiving.
For Apple TV 4K users, they will be able to stream at least one game in 4K on Thanksgiving Day, which is on Thursday, November 23, this year.
Here is the one game that will be broadcast in 4K this year:
- 12:30 p.m. ET: Green Bay Packers vs. Detroit Lions – FOX
The Lions playing on Thanksgiving is a tradition that dates all the way back to 1934.
The way to stream this game in 4K on FOX is through two methods.
Our first method will be through the YouTube TV and fuboTV live TV streaming services. Both of them offer the FOX 4K channels which will be showing the 4K through the 4K feed. YouTube TV users will need the 4K add-on with the service which costs an additional $9.99 a month.
The most convenient way to get access to the 4K stream will be through the tvOS FOX Sports app. All the user will have to do is sign in with their TV provider to the app and as long as your TV plan has FOX as a channel on it, you will be able to stream the game from the app and view it in 4K on their Apple TV 4K.
There will be two other NFL games after the Packers-Lions game. The next game will be played on CBS and streaming live on Paramount+, and the final game of the day will be played on NBC and streaming live on Peacock. However, neither of those games are said to be broadcast in 4K this year at this time.
