DoorDashing might have just gotten a little more addictive thanks to a new feature DoorDash seems to have added.

It has been spotted online now that DoorDash has added support for Live Activities to its app. This would mean that users that have the feature enabled would be able to track their order from their Lock Screen or Dynamic Island (applicable to the iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 15, and iPhone 15 Pro).

What this will do is allow for customers to see the status of their order and see where it is at in real-time, and the estimated delivery time.

Previously, users would have to open the app on their iPhone or other devices to see the status of their order.

Competitors of DoorDash such as UberEats already had Live Activities enabled since May this year.

Live Activities functionality has been spotted by an X user in Virginia by @MikeyBaby434, as well as another user from Reddit, u/fried_bacon_chicken, based in Australia using DoorDash there.

MacRumors originally came across the addition of Live Activities to the DoorDash app.

Other apps such as CARROT Weather, Flighty, the NBA app, and others do have support for Live Activities as well.
