It has been reported by MacRumors that with the upcoming 2023 Holiday Update from Tesla that the Apple Podcasts app will be included in that update and enable Tesla users to download it and use in their vehicles.

This would be available to Tesla Model 3, S, X, Y, and Cybertruck users.

Once the app is on their Testa vehicle, it will be in their Tesla App Launcher which is where they will load it. After that, they will be required to sign in with their Apple ID by scanning a QR code on the screen of the Tesla.

While the app does not cost any money, the Premium Connectivity subscription would be necessary in order to stream podcasts through a cellular connection.

Of course, the app is still said to have features like saving podcasts, Next Up, Latest Played, Most Recent Episodes, etc., which is similar to Apple CarPlay’s Podcasts app.
