Today, as part of Apple’s annual Black Unity Collection to celebrate Black History Month, Apple unveiled the brand new Black Unity Sport Band dubbed “Unity Bloom.”

Given its name, this exotic design features an arrangement of flowers that utilizes the green, red, and yellow colors that represent Black Unity. Similar to what Apple has done with the original Black Unity Sport Band (2021) and the Pride Edition Sport Band (2020), the company uses a unique layer process for the flowers that makes each band unique with tiny variations in the design.

Apple has also taken special detail with the stainless steel pin by coating it with a diamond-like carbon finish, the same process that was used for the previous Space Black stainless steel cases on previous Apple Watch models. If you look closely, you’ll find the words “Truth, Power, Solidarity” etched on the back of the pin, which surrounds the symbolic flower.

To compliment the beautiful design of the band, Apple has designed a matching watch face as well as Lock Screens for both iPhone and iPad. This new Lock Screen will be part of the upcoming iOS 17.3 / iPadOS 17.3 updates, and the watch face will be part of watchOS 10.3; all of them will be available starting next week. Apple has pushed out release candidates for those software updates today.

It’s available for both smaller and larger Watch cases with both size options – S/M and M/L. You can order this Black Unity Sport Band at apple.com starting today for $49, and it will be available in select Apple Store locations starting January 23.
