The moment we’ve all been waiting for is here! After Apple’s Online Store went down for the last couple of hours, it is now back online and now accepting pre-orders for Apple’s highly awaited Spatial Computer – the Apple Vision Pro. Apple’s first Spatial Computer will be available starting February 2nd in the U.S. at Apple Stores and on apple.com.
Over the last few days, customers were unsure about the cost of the AppleCare+ plan for the Apple Vision Pro. Today, Apple has confirmed the price of the plan to be $499 for two years or $24.99/per month. I would say that the cost of the plan is justified due to the nature and replacement costs of the product itself, considering its starting price of $3,499.
Here’s what AppleCare+ offers for Apple Vision Pro:
- Unlimited repairs for accidental damage protection
- Apple-certified service and support
- Express Replacement Service ”” we’ll ship you a replacement so you don’t have to wait for a repair24/7 priority access to Apple experts
Apple has also confirmed that there are three storage options for the Apple Vision Pro, being $3,499 for 256GB of storage, $3699 for 512GB of storage, and $3899 for 1TB of storage. We can expect the 512GB variant to be the most popular among the three. Apart from storage, the only upgrades are for Zeiss Optical Inserts. According to Apple, “Readers will be available for $99 (U.S.), and ZEISS Optical Inserts ”” Prescription will be available for $149 (U.S.).”
