When preorders for the Vision Pro started last Friday, Apple also posted a behind-the-scenes video on its YouTube channel that shows how this spatial computer is manufactured. The description reads, “A peek behind the scenes to see how we make Apple Vision Pro, our first spatial computer.” At the time of this posting, this video is now one of the top trending videos on YouTube.
Tim Cook, CEO of Apple, shared this video on X as well. We’ve seen several videos like this one that show the manufacturing process of newly designed products such as the unibody MacBook from 2008, the controversial cylinder-shaped Mac Pro from 2013, and the original Apple Watch introduced in 2014.
