Apple has started rolling out macOS Sonoma 14.3 to the public with new features such as Collaborative Playlists, and more. This update comes a little over a month after the release of macOS Sonoma 14.2.1 which also released with important security updates and bug fixes. Apple keeps refining the software experience with every 14.x update whilst also fixing security issues.
Here’s what’s new according to the Release Notes:
“macOS Sonoma 14.3 introduces enhancements to Apple Music, as well as other features, bug fixes and security updates for your Mac.
Ӣ Collaborative playlists in Apple Music allow you to invite friends to join your playlist, and everyone can add, reorder and remove songs
Ӣ Emoji reactions can be added to any track in a collaborative playlist in Apple Music
Ӣ AppleCare & Warranty in System Settings shows your coverage for all devices signed in with your Apple ID
Some features may not be available in all regions or on all Apple devices.

This update also addresses 16 security vulnerabilities with Kernel, Finder, Shortcuts, Mail Search, Safari, WebKit, and more.
macOS Sonoma is compatible with the following Mac models:
- MacBook Air (2018 and later)
- MacBook Pro (2018 and later)
- iMac (2019 and later)
- iMac Pro (2017)
- Mac mini (2018 and later)
- Mac Studio (2022 and later)
- Mac Pro (2019 and later)
In addition to macOS Sonoma 14.3, Apple has also released macOS Ventura 13.6.4 and macOS Monterey 12.7.3 for Macs running on older versions of macOS.
