Webex announced this morning its blog that it now has a new app available on the Apple TV 4K in the tvOS App Store.

The app has the intention to assist and help with employees that are working from home and for businesses that have a hybrid workforce.

In order to sign into your Webex account, users will have to download the app and then scan the QR code on the sign-in screen and log in with their credentials.

As for using a camera to be seen during the meetings on the Webex tvOS app, Webex has an answer for that too.

“To participate in a meeting, just wirelessly connect your iPhone or iPad to Apple TV 4K and take advantage of its microphones and video camera. Webex ensures crystal-clear audio and video for collaboration on your Apple TV 4K, and once connected, the Webex app will show a preview of your video and microphone status before you join the meeting. With your Siri Remote, you can manage the in-meeting call controls and the microphone and video on your iPhone or iPad.”

Webex says that up to 25 people can be in a single call at once. Its new app is compatible on the Apple TV 4K second generation or newer and the user must have iOS 17 and/or iPadOS 17 installed on their iPhone or iPad too.

Other video conferencing apps such as Zoom have also released apps that are available and supported on the Apple TV 4K too.
