Apple has started rolling out watchOS 10.3.1 to the public with “improvements and bug fixes”. These updates come a little over two weeks after the release of watchOS 10.3 which debuted with a new Unity watch face, and more.
Similar to iOS 17.3.1 and iPadOS 17.3.1, Apple has not published any CVE entries for watchOS 10.3.1, so we can assume that there are no changes in regard to security.
Users can update their Apple Watch by going into the Watch App on their iPhone and navigating to My Watch>General>Software Update. The update requires your Apple Watch to be near your paired iPhone and have at least 50% Battery.
watchOS 10 is compatible with the following Apple Watch models:
- Apple Watch Series 4
- Apple Watch Series 5
- Apple Watch Series 6
- Apple Watch SE (1st generation and 2nd generation)
- Apple Watch Series 7
- Apple Watch Series 8
- Apple Watch Series 9
- Apple Watch Ultra
- Apple Watch Ultra 2
It is highly recommended to update your Apple Watch to the latest software for the best experience.

Update requires the watch to be on its charger, NOT just charged to at least 50%.
