It has been reported by 9to5Mac that like with Apple creating an easy way for users to convert from using Android to an iPhone, the company is now looking to do the same in the music streaming industry.

Apple is said to be working on integrating SongShift into Apple Music where it would enable users to convert from a music streaming service like Spotify or Prime Music to Apple Music. It is currently in the beta testing on Apple Music for Android, according to Reddit users.

SongShift has been an app used for many years that has allowed for users to share and convert music catalogs from one music streaming service to the other.

Reddit users have also reported that there appears to be a new prompt in the Apple Music for Android app that says “add saved music and playlists you made in other music services to your Apple Music library.”

While the feature may show up in the Apple Music app, the functionality of it all goes through SongShift.

At this time, the SongShift integration in the Apple Music for Android app beta is only showing up for a small number of users right now, it seems.
