Riders of the of the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) in Canada now have the ability to use Apple Pay Express Mode when getting on and using the subway at all subway stations.

Now riders are able to hold their iPhone or Apple Watch over a card reader and pay for their fare that way. By using Express Mode, the riders do not need to wake or unlock their device in order to make their payment, or verifying with Face ID, Touch ID, or a passcode.

An X user and Toronto citizen has highlighted on the social media platform that it will not let him use his PRESTO card, but will work with other credit and debit cards that have already been added to the Wallet app.

MacRumors reported that the TTC has said that the PRESTO card will get Wallet app support later this year.

Apple has not updated its page that would indicate support for this on its website, but that could be coming at a later date.
