Spring has certainly sprung all across the U.S.
April showers do tend to bring May flowers, so here is what you could be streaming during those rainy days.
TV:
- “100 Days to Indy” (Season 1): This series is all about a countdown to the NTT IndyCar Series Indy 500 race, which generally takes place over Memorial Day Weekend in May. It will be available to stream on Netflix on Thursday, April 4.
- “Modern Family”: This show was quite popular for over a decade here in America and all 11 seasons of the show can be streamed on Hulu or Peacock.
- “Quiet on the Set”: The first four episodes of this docu-series just aired on Investigative Discovery (ID) last month. Its fifth episode will air on Sunday, April 7, on ID. It will be made available on MAX and Discovery+ the day after.
- “Community”: All six seasons of this series are now streaming on Peacock.
- “Star Trek: Discovery” (Season 5): This is the final season of the show which will premiere on Paramount+ exclusively on Thursday, April 4.
Movies:
- “Hans Zimmer: Hollywood Rebel”: This film details and explores the life and career of popular film and TV show score composer Hans Zimmer. It will be available to stream on Netflix on Monday, April 15.
- “Call Me By Your Name”: If you have been wanting to see a good movie with up-and-coming actor Timothee Chalamet, this could be a good one for you. It is currently available to stream on Hulu.
- “The Storied Life of AJ Fikry”: For those wanting to see what happened to actor Kunal Nayyar after “The Big Bang Theory,” this is one of his notable movies after that popular TV series. It is can be streamed on Hulu. As someone like me who read the book originally, the book was great in itself too.
- “Disturbia”: If you’re a fan of true crime, we think you’ll like this one. It is available to stream on Prime Video and Paramount+.
- “Puppy Love”: Grant Gustin and Lucy Hale star in this film and it is available to stream on Prime Video and Amazon Freevee.
Sports:
- Men’s College Basketball National Championship: We don’t know who will be playing in this yet but it is currently scheduled to be played on Monday, April 8, on TBS and TNT, and streaming live on MAX.
- MLB “Friday Night Baseball”: You can see the schedule of the games this month for “Friday Night Baseball” on Apple TV+ this month here.
- NASCAR Cup Series races in 4K: There are going to be a number of races that will be broadcast in 4K this month for Apple TV 4K users this month. Be sure to check out our article on that.
- Golden State Warriors vs. Los Angeles Lakers (NBA): These are two of the closest-matched teams, in terms of the records in the league. This game will be played at 9 p.m. ET on Tuesday, April 9, on TNT and streaming live on MAX.
- United Football League (UFL): Springtime football is back in America right now and the full schedule is available here. Games are broadcast on weekends between ABC, ESPN, FOX, FS1, and select ESPN games streaming live on ESPN+.
