If you’re looking to save big on an Apple Watch Ultra 2 and you happen to live in China, Apple has started selling refurbished models of the Ultra 2 in its Certified Refurbished Store. As of now, China is the first and only country to offer certified refurbished models of the Ultra 2 from Apple.
Refurbished models are approximately 15% off of the MSRP for models in new condition, yet they are thoroughly tested to meet the same quality standards found in newly manufactured products. Refurbished models come with the same included manuals and accessories as those bundled with new devices, and they’re repackaged in a white box.
Due to an ongoing lawsuit with a medical tech company Masimo, Apple has disabled the Blood Oxygen app for current shipments of the Ultra 2 in the U.S., and Apple has currently listed the Apple Watch SE in its Certified Refurbished Store. That model never has the Blood Oxygen feature. Since Apple pulled more recent Apple Watch models with the Blood Oxygen feature from its Refurbished Store, we won’t see any refurbished models of the Ultra 2 in the U.S. for the time being.
The next generation Apple Watch (allegedly dubbed “Series 10”), is expected to be announced around this September alongside the iPhone 16 lineup. Only time will tell if Apple will reenable the Blood Oxygen feature.
