Looks as though Christmas came a little early for Apple Pay users. Well…maybe Christmas in July fans, that is.
It has been discovered that Hallmark’s website is now currently accepting Apple Pay.
This is a change from the fact that the company was previously supporting Apple Pay on its website a few years ago but quietly stopped accepting it, and is now accepting it once again.
With that said, Hallmark’s retail stores have been accepting Apple Pay for at least a couple of years.
When making a purchase on the website and going to your shopping cart now, a box towards the bottom that highlights payment methods does show Apple Pay as one of the accepted payment methods now.
By adding Apple Pay support to the website, not only does it make it so users can get some of the best payment encryption out there, but now Apple Card users can get 2% in Daily Cash on each purchase they make from the website.
It should also be noted that this seems to currently only work with products that Hallmark’s online store has in-stock. Making pre-orders with Apple Pay is not an option at this time.
