During Apple’s May 2024 event, the company announced and unveiled a new Magic Keyboard solely for and dedicated to the brand new 11-inch and 13-inch iPad Pros it also announced this morning.
The new Magic Keyboard for the new iPad Pros are available for $299 for the 11-inch version and $349 for the 13-inch version.
What is one of the most significant changes to the Magic Keyboard is that it is have a new set of function keys, giving users easier access to buttons that enable them to make the screen brighter or darker while using their iPad Pro or adjusting the volume while playing media, skip, play, and pause buttons, as well as a Do Not Disturb button.
Another major addition is the trackpad has haptic feedback similar to what a user would experience on a MacBook.
Both additions of the function keys and the haptic feedback with the trackpad make it so that iPad Pro is becoming a lot like the MacBook as a whole.
The new Magic Keyboard does have a USB-C port for charging, which is not for charging the keyboard itself, but makes it so users can charge their iPad Pros through the Magic Keyboard while having their said iPad Pro connected to it.
The keyboards come in black or white colors and are said to be available by Wednesday, May 15, next week.
Apple additionally made some price changes to its entry-level iPad 10th generation today too.
