NewsON Comes to the Apple TV

NewsON is a TV streaming service that allows its users to stream their local newscast. The service does not have all of the local news stations in the country but does have over 170 stations signed on to their service.

Previously, the app was only available on the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad and Mac. The service has already been put on other streaming devices like the Roku and Amazon Fire TV.

This app could be a great way for cord cutters (and for people who do not have antennas) to stream their local news right from their Apple TV
