New iPad Air and M4 iPad Pro purchases will not come with iconic Apple stickers

Avatar for David Becker

It has been reported by 9to5Mac that Apple will not be including its classic Apple stickers with new iPad Air sixth generation and M4 iPad Pro purchases.

This information was obtained from a memo Apple sent to its workers in its Apple Stores that was seen by 9to5Mac.

Apple’s reason for not providing the Apple stickers with these products is part of an environmental goal within the company and wants to make its products plastic-free.

It has also been reported that Apple Stores have been receiving shipments of Apple stickers that workers can give to customers that purchase the new iPad Air and iPad Pros, but only when it is requested.

Other retailers like Best Buy, Target, Walmart, and others do not appear to be getting the Apple stickers sent to them, so Apple might be making this an Apple Store exclusive feature.

Currently, it has only been reported that the new iPad Air and iPad Pros are the only products at this time that will no longer include Apple stickers in the box. It is unknown if Apple will do the same with other current or future products.
