Apple rolls out watchOS 10.5 with new Pride watch face and more

Apple has started rolling out watchOS 10.5 to the public with a new Pride watch face, bug fixes, and security fixes. This update addresses 6 security vulnerabilities with Maps, Shortcuts, WebKit, and more.

This update comes over two months after the release of watchOS 10.4 which came with several security improvements and bug fixes. Apple keeps refining the software experience with every watchOS update by fixing bugs and security flaws. The size of the update can vary depending upon the Apple Watch model that you have and the software version you’re updating from.

According to the release notes,

“watchOS 10.5 includes new features, improvements and bug fixes, including a new Pride Radiance watch face to honor the LGBTQ+ community and culture.

Users can update their Apple Watch by going into the Watch App on their iPhone and navigating to My Watch>General>Software Update. The update requires your Apple Watch to be near your paired iPhone, connected to power, and have at least 50% Battery. watchOS 10 is available for Apple Watch Series 4 and later.
