Apple pushed out the second beta of macOS Sequoia 15.1 to developers, and that beta brought a very nice touch for users who will use FaceTime and other videoconferencing apps. In that beta, Apple added a new selection of backgrounds that showcase several trademark scenes around Apple Park. You may be able to recognize those if you’ve watched an Apple Event, especially Apple Park’s trademark rainbow arch that was based on one of the company’s earliest logos.
FaceTime and other video calling apps in macOS Sequoia are becoming more capable than ever in further enhancing your videoconferencing experience. With Presenter Preview, you’ll be able to preview what you’re about to share with everyone whether it’s the entire screen or just a single window. If you happen to have a messy room or just want to express yourself, you’ll be able to use any background you choose (either built-in ones or even your own photos) so you can present yourself well without any clutter behind you.
macOS Sequoia will be available to the public later this fall, and it’ll be compatible with most Macs introduced as early as 2018. Apple Intelligence is expected to arrive in macOS 15.1 for Macs with Apple Silicon.
