We reported this time last year that the Epic MyChart app got support for the Apple Wallet app which enabled users to add their insurance cards into said Wallet app.
This past week, the MyChart app officially got support for the Apple Vision Pro in its latest update, Version 11.3.1.
The release notes of the update say the following:
“The account setting activity has an updated look-and-feel. MyChart is now compatible with Apple Vision Pro. These features might become available to use after your healthcare organization starts using the latest version of Epic.”
This is considered a somewhat big deal since the Apple Vision Pro is still a fairly new Apple product, as well as the fact that the MyChart app is currently the number one app in the Medical category of apps in the App Store.
MyChart is also available on the iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch.
