This special-edition Apple Watch band never saw the light of day…

Today is a very special day for Apple enthusiasts because it marks the 10th anniversary since the original Apple Watch launched. Apple Watch is not only the most personal device from Apple, but it’s also a great tool that helps you maintain good health overall, particularly with closing your rings, mediating, etc. It won’t be an Apple Watch without several customizations with watch bands, which work with all Apple Watch models even the latest Series 10.

However, what you may not know until now is that Apple apparently designed a special-edition Watch band in honor of the Watch’s 10th anniversary according to 9to5Mac. Unfortunately, it was scrapped for public release in the end. But someone was able to get a hands on what this elusive Watch band looks like. As you can see from above, it featured several speckles, similar to the designs of the 2023 Pride Edition Sport Band and recent Nike Bands; however, those speckles on there represent various colors of Watch bands over the past decade. It also features a jet black pin, and on the back of the pin, you’ll see “10” encircled by the engravings “2014-2024: Ten Years of Apple Watch” (keep in mind that Apple introduced the original Watch on September 9, 2014). We’ve seen engravings like this one on other special-edition Black Unity and Pride Sport Bands.

Nevertheless, this is the Watch band that Apple should release for band collectors or Apple Watch enthusiasts to keep as a memoir on what the Apple Watch is a vital tool for them. If you have an Apple Watch, we hope you’re celebrating this day by closing your rings.
