We’re now in the month of July, and as you may know, that’s the time when we get some first-looks on what the upcoming iPhone models could look like based on the dummy models provided no other than Sonny Dickson.

Yesterday, he posted an image on X that depicts the color rings for all the colors for every iPhone 17 model, which gave us a good idea on the color options for the entire iPhone 17 lineup.

For the base iPhone 17, which is expected to feature the same dual-camera layout as the iPhone 16/16 Plus, the color options may consist of the following: black, gray, silver, light blue, light green, and light purple. Rumors indicate that the colors for the base iPhone 17 may be paler in tone as opposed to the more saturated hues that the iPhone 16/16 Plus offer.

For the iPhone 17 Air, which is expected to feature a single camera on the rear side, Majin Bu claimed that the 17 Air may bring the following color options: black, silver, gold, and sky blue, meaning that the Sky Blue finish that debuted on the M4 MacBook Air could make its way to the iPhone 17 Air.

Last, but not least, Dickson expected the iPhone 17 Pro/Pro Max to offer a brand-new color option that we’ve never seen before, which could be a copper-like orange finish that may replace the Desert Titanium option in the iPhone 16 Pro models. If we take a look at the image of the camera rings for the upcoming iPhone 17 Pro, the black, gray, and silver colors likely correspond with Black, Natural, and White finishes for the iPhone 17 Pro models. The blue lens color suggests that Apple may reintroduce the deep blue color that previously appeared in the iPhone 15 Pro. Furthermore, as a recent rumor suggested, it’s still important to mention that the iPhone 17 Pro will feature aluminum around the frame instead of titanium, marking a huge design departure since the iPhone X with its use of more premium materials such as stainless steel and titanium.

As this is a rumor, these color options may not be final, so it won’t be long (less than two months) until we expect Apple to unveil its iPhone 17 lineup on the week of September 8.
