Two weeks after the release of the first beta of iOS 26.1, Apple has rolled out the second beta to developers today. Being a .1 update, it brings some notable changes and new features to iOS 26 to enhance your experience even further. In the first beta, Apple has added support for more languages for the new Live Translation feature introduced with iOS 26 for AirPods Pro 2 and 3, along with minor changes to Liquid Glass.
In Beta 2, Apple has made changes to the text alignment in the Settings App and App Folders, and once again refined the new Liquid Glass design by bringing it back to the Dock.

The beta also adds “slide to stop” for alarms, replacing the fixed stop button, which can potentially be accidentally tapped.
We can expect the stable version of iOS 26.1 to be released by early November, and there might be more new features and changes added gradually with the upcoming beta updates.
