Apple Arcade is getting a big pitch-side signing: Football Manager 26 Touch returns on November 4, bringing an upgraded engine, official Premier League licensing, and — for the first time in the series on Arcade — women’s football.
Sports Interactive and SEGA rebuilt the Touch edition with a sharper graphics engine that promises smoother player movement and more on-pitch detail. The update also adds official Premier League crests, kits and player likenesses — and introduces women’s football across full leagues and competitions. Those changes aim to make matches feel more authentic whether you’re managing in London or overseas.
Studio director Miles Jacobson says the reimagined user interface should “really enhance the experience across Apple devices,” a welcome note for players who bounce between iPhone, iPad and Apple TV.
Apple Arcade has been steadily leaning into premium sports titles (think NBA 2K26 Arcade Edition and NFL Retro Bowl ’26), and adding Football Manager 26 Touch plugs a different audience into the subscription: tacticians and long-term players who invest dozens — sometimes hundreds — of hours building squads and dynasties.
Apple also announced a trio of family-friendly arrivals: MySims and MySims Kingdom (Maxis Studios) and Toca Boca Jr Classics (Toca Boca, Sago Mini). These three will be available on November 6, giving Arcade a little something for younger players and creators alongside the hardcore football sim.
If you’re a longtime FM player, the Premier League licensing and women’s football in the Touch edition are meaningful — they add authenticity and new managerial paths without demanding a full-time PC install. If you’re an Apple Arcade subscriber, this is a low-friction moment to explore a deeper, slower-paced sports game that rewards long-term thinking. Expect transfers, tactical experiments, and plenty of dramatic match days.
