Apple announced a new iteration of the iPad Pro today, with the M5 chip, custom-designed C1X modem, and N1 wireless chip. This new iPad may simply seem like a chip update, but if we dive deeper into the specifications, we can find some more useful upgrades for Pro customers.
The M5 iPad Pro comes with support for fast charging, with it going from 0% to 50% in 30 minutes if you use Apple’s 40W Dynamic Power Adapter with 60W Max or any other adapter that can output 60W or more, according to Apple.
Along with this upgrade, Apple also now offers 50% More RAM in 256GB and 512GB Models, compared to the M4 iPad Pro.
The M5 iPad Pro is available to preorder with a starting price of $999 for the 11-inch variant and $1,299 for the 13-inch variant models with 256GB of storage. The new models will be available starting October 22.
