Apple has announced a new partnership between it and NBCUniversal that will bring a bundle for Apple TV and Peacock users.
This bundle is said to be launching on Monday, October 20.
By subscribing to this bundle, which will cost $14.99 a month for the Apple TV with Peacock Premium ad-supported tier and $19.99 a month for the Apple TV with Peacock Premium Plus ad-free tier, users will save 30-35% on their bill for the services.
It should be noted that the Peacock Premium Plus ad-free tier would include users getting access to their local NBC station as well.
Apple TV currently has programming such as “Ted Lasso,” “The Morning Show,” “Severance,” and its new Apple Original Film “F1” starring Brad Pitt.
Peacock on the other hand has a plethora of content such as “The Office,” “Parks and Recreation,” “That 70’s Show,” and “George Lopez,” along with a variety of great big name and indie films. The service is home to a wide portfolio of live sports content such as NFL Sunday Night Football, BIG 10 Saturday Night Football, exclusive BIG 10 college athletics games for sports such as college football and basketball, and starting on Tuesday, October 21, it will be tipping off its NBA regular season coverage.
Other original content Peacock has is programs like “The Paper,” “Ted,” and “The Day of the Jackal.”
This is not the first time we have seen Apple get involved with bundles, such as its history with the old CBS All Access (now Paramount+) with Showtime bundle that was done through the Apple TV app.
On top of that, we have already seen streaming service bundle launches this month like the new ESPN streaming service with FOX One.
