Sometimes, when you wear your Apple Watch, you want a sophisticated and stylish band for any occasion. However, the problem with those bands, such as Apple’s Link Bracelet, is that they could get a bit less comfortable to wear all day. Nomad’s latest offering aims to remedy this issue.
Dubbed the “Stratos Band”, this watch band essentially offers the best of both worlds by making the Apple Watch look more like a traditional watch while offering superior comfort that Nomad’s Sport Bands, including the more recently released Tempo Band, have been known for. According to Nomad, it took over two years to perfect this design down to the subtlest details. This includes combining the premium-looking titanium links from the Titanium Band and the ultra-comfort of FKM fluoroelastomer that Nomad’s sport-oriented bands have excelled in.
As you can see, the Stratos Band is inspired by the existing Steel/Titanium Bands that Nomad offers with Grade 4 titanium on the links for a rugged, yet stylish appearance. Just like with the Steel/Titanium Bands, this band is also micro-adjustable to tailor based on your wrist size. The FKM rubber on the inside comes in three bold colors that make the band stand out more with style. Offered in either Black or Natural, the Stratos Band not only complements beautifully with the Apple Watch Ultra, but this band will also work with the larger case sizes of any Apple Watch model. You can also configure the FKM rubber to any of the three colors: Black, Ultra Orange, and Volt.
The Stratos Band retails for $179 USD on Nomad’s website. You can preorder the Stratos Band today, and ordering the band itself also qualifies for free shipping (for orders $50+). For what it’s worth, the Stratos Band will certainly be quite a compelling alternative to Apple’s offerings if you want a stylish band that’s also made for intense workouts, especially for Apple Watch Ultra users.
