Apple has started rolling out the first betas of iOS 26.2, iPadOS 26.2, watchOS 26.2, visionsOS 26.2, and tvOS 26.2 to developers. These updates come just one day after the release of the 26.1 versions to the public, where Apple added the ability to change the look of ‘Liquid Glass’ in iOS/iPadOS/macOS 26.1 with two new options. The first option is Clear, which is the current default look, and Tinted, which increases opacity and contrast. These options are available under Display and Brightness Settings on iPhone/iPad and Appearance Settings on Mac.
We can expect the next betas to be released after two weeks, followed by a weekly release schedule before the RC/Final Release. Apple has not released macOS Tahoe 26.2 Beta 1 yet, and we can expect it to be released later this week, along with the Public Betas.
Users who are registered as a developer on www.developer.apple.com can opt in to receive beta updates by going into Settings>General>Software Update>Beta Updates and selecting Developer Beta. Do note that these versions are not stable and are meant for testing purposes.
