The Titans are roaring back. Apple TV announced that its global hit series, “Monarch: Legacy of Monsters,” is officially returning for a second season. Fans of the MonsterVerse drama won’t have to wait too much longer to see what happens next, as the new season is set to premiere globally on Friday, February 27, 2026.
The first season captivated audiences by following two siblings as they uncovered their family’s deep-rooted connection to the secretive Monarch organization. This journey, spanning from the 1950s to the present day, put them on a collision course with Army officer Lee Shaw, brilliantly portrayed by both Kurt Russell and his son, Wyatt Russell. The story left us with massive questions about Monarch’s future and humanity’s place alongside the Titans.
The upcoming 10-episode second season will pick up right in the aftermath, with the fate of the world hanging in the balance. Apple’s preview teases that the new season will reunite our heroes (and villains) on Kong’s Skull Island. The saga will continue to unearth buried secrets, introduce a mysterious new village, and even feature a mythical Titan rising from the depths of the sea.
Mark your calendars for February 27, 2026. The new season will debut with its first episode, followed by one new episode every Friday until the finale on May 1, 2026. Of course, the entire first season is available to stream right now, making it the perfect time for a re-watch or to catch up on the colossal action exclusively on Apple TV.
