Apple has started rolling out iOS/iPadOS 26.5.2 and macOS 26.5.2 to the public, with the new build numbers being 23F84 and 25F84, respectively. These updates come almost a month after the release of iOS 26.5.1 and macOS 26.5.1 to the public, which included bug fixes. These updates are expected to bring more stability and a better experience for users running previous versions.
It’s worth noting that Apple only released iOS 26.5.1 for the iPhone 17 and iPhone Air models, fixing issues pertaining to those models. For all other iPhones, the version will be upgraded from 26.5 directly to 26.5.2.

Apple keeps refining the software experience with every update, whilst also fixing security issues. However, Apple has not yet updated its Security Update webpage to incorporate the release of the new software versions, which detail the security vulnerabilities that have been fixed, and subsequently credit the researchers who found them.
If you have already installed iOS/iPadOS/macOS 27 beta on your device, you will NOT see this update. Apple is currently also testing version 26.6 alongside this release, and while all iPhone models that support iOS 26 will support iOS 27, iPadOS 26.6 might be the last major update for the iPad (8th generation), iPad Air (3rd generation), and iPad Pro (11-inch first generation). macOS 27, on the other hand, will drop support for all Intel Macs.
