If you purchased a recent flagship device, you might be entitled to a piece of that $250 million fund. The eligible class includes customers who bought an Apple Intelligence-capable iPhone between June 10, 2024, and March 29, 2025. This purchasing window covers the exact period from the initial WWDC announcement until shortly after the software delays were confirmed. Qualifying devices include the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and the entire iPhone 16 lineup, including the iPhone 16e.
So, exactly how much cash can you expect to receive? Right now, the estimated payout sits at $25 per eligible iPhone. However, this figure will fluctuate based on the total number of people who actually file a valid claim. If participation is remarkably low, the maximum individual payout could reach up to $95 per device. Notices inviting affected users to submit their claims will be sent out no later than August 31, 2026.
