Apple continues expanding its power accessory lineup worldwide. Consequently, the company now offers its latest fast charger across Europe and Vietnam. Furthermore, buyers can purchase the accessory alongside new desktop models.

This updated power adapter features a two-pin Europlug connection. Specifically, its clever design includes retractable prongs. Users can easily fold the prongs into the casing. As a result, this mechanical feature simplifies transport and protects other items inside your bag.

Apple first introduced this charging technology in September 2025. However, the initial release targeted North American markets during a major smartphone launch. Additionally, a specialized three-prong version debuted shortly after for other international territories.

The new European variant matches the physical footprint of older standard power bricks. Nevertheless, internal hardware improvements deliver double the standard baseline output. Therefore, the unit supplies 40 watts of continuous power during normal operation.

Moreover, a dynamic system unlocks higher speeds during initial charging cycles. For example, the unit temporarily boosts output up to 60 watts. This short performance burst significantly accelerates top-ups when battery levels run low.

In addition, compatibility spans across multiple device categories. For instance, the charger powers modern smartphones, ultra-thin mobile devices, and tablets at maximum speeds. Thus, its versatile design supports heavy daily use without adding bulk.

Finally, the Type-C model is available across nineteen countries immediately. Key regions include Germany, France, Italy, Spain, and Vietnam. Meanwhile, most European storefronts list the accessory at €45.
